M Actors need to have a certain combination of skills, that
differ from the traditional stage/screen/Television style.
Naturally, you need to convincingly portray a character but their are many other skills and traits that we look for. Run down the list below, and if you meet all of our requirements then contact us to discuss the opportunities.
Actor Skills & Traits
- Reliability is the most important attribute.
- Availability
- Are you free to travel any time any day with 2 weeks notice
- Do you have your own reliable car and license
- Happy to share room/facilities with another actor when staying at venues
- Improvisational and comedy ability (we do not use scripts)
- People skills. You will be interacting with very senior people and must be able to relate with them in positive and respectful manner.
- Quality focused. Near enough is definitely not good enough.
- Male roles available at present
We apologise if it sounds like a demanding list, but by carefully selecting our team we have a very happy, and that translates to a very successful team. Most of our actors have been with us for many years, with only 2 resignations in 10 years.
